Malaysia’s Self-Sufficiency Level (SSL)

The Malaysian government is working towards increasing the country's self-sufficiency level (SSL) and various initiatives have been in the pipeline, such as the National Dairy Industry Development Programme which aimed to increase the SSL in fresh milk production to 100% in five years. Stay tuned for next month's issue, which features an article on the key drivers for better SSL in the nation.
