Veronica has a bachelor degree in civil engineering from UiTM Shah Alam and registered as Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She was awarded one of The Best Research Presentation for Final Year Project titled “Rhizofiltration of Contaminated Water by Using Floating Plant” which is under Division of Water Resources and Environmental System of the UiTM Civil Engineering Faculty, Shah Alam Selangor.
She has more than seven years of experience with different range of positions such as Site Engineer, Project Engineer, QA/QC Engineer and Technical/Design Engineer. Throughout the last decade in construction industry, various knowledge and skills have been gained from different construction sector such as Oil & Gas and Bridge Works on site management, QA/QC works and technical.
In 2014, Veronica landed a job as Project Engineer in Oil and Gas Industry for projects Petronas LNG Train-9 and EPCM for Petronas Shell terminal (PST) Bintulu Diesel Tank Construction Works for almost 3 years which mostly covers on steel structure erection, fabrication and modification works.
Then in early 2017, she took another challenge to move on to a different construction industry which is in Bridge & Prestressing works. Started as a site engineer until about a year and then took up the challenge to handle the QA/QC matter as QA/QC Engineer. At the same time, the company her sent for a training with one of its subsidiaries to be specialized in bridge prestressing works and design. Not only in site supervision and QA/QC work but throughout those 4 years from 2017 to 2021, Veronica has been a part of project operation team to assist in technical and design matters. Most of the project involved were bridge works under Pan Borneo Project for both Sabah and Sarawak.
