Girish Ramachandran, formerly the Head of Business Advisory for Arcadis South East Asia, recently made the switch to 27Group, bringing his 25 years of experience. In the past quarter century, Girish has managed consultancy assignments involving projects with transaction values in excess of RM1 billion and development values in excess of RM20 billion, and has advised the largest companies in Malaysia.

On the reason for this move, Girish said, “27Group represents the coming together of a robust Southeast Asian built-asset consultancy team coupled with partners from the Big 4 accounting firms, seasoned project managers from the largest real estate development firms as well as technology, management and investment subject matter experts with a common goal of creating and delivering value for our clients.”

The move also sees 27Group working with consultancies such as Arcadis South East Asia as strategic advisors, thus creating a symbiotic relationship that strengthens both entities.

The founding of 27Group is the natural culmination of Girish’s own career journey; whereby he spent 25 years across the fields of audit, corporate recovery and corporate finance before moving to management consultancy, focusing on natural and built assets since 2009.

“At 27Group, we believe projects need an infusion of human values into strategy, funding and delivery in order to deliver sustainable, significant impact in a balanced manner. We strive to achieve this through our focus on Socio Economic Transformation, Innovative Funding Models and Development Integrators,” he added.

27Group opened its doors earlier this year with a clear vision – becoming Malaysia’s very first strategic nation building consultants with a shared vision of rebuilding humanity in Malaysia and the region.

Comprising three fundamental pillars – 27Advisory, 27Projects and 27Capital, with each striving to contribute to high value impact projects, 27Group offers in-depth consultancy and reviews socio-economic impacts, focusing not on profit but primarily on the overall impact on communities and humanity.
