Position: Intern
About the role:
Management Interns at 27Group will be given the opportunity to work alongside with the Management Consultants, supporting on planning, executing and completing consulting tasks. The core responsibilities include addressing critical business problems, deriving business insights, and developing business solutions for business improvement or value creation engagements.
As part of the project team, you will be collaborating with team members from various backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from different perspectives while developing new skills and accumulating critical experience to help you grow and achieve your professional aspirations.
As a management intern, you will be engaged for a 3 to 6 months placement, depending on your university’s requirement. Orientation and on-the-job training will be given. You will have a chance to work with a wide range of clients from different industries and projects, develop your consulting skillsets and ultimately assist our clients to unlock greater economic value for their respective organizations. By the end of the internship, you will have a clear understanding on what a career in management consulting means.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in end-to-end execution of management consultancy projects which include developing hypotheses, data collection, model creation and analyses, primary and secondary research, presentation of analyses findings, generation of constructive solutions or ideas to tackle specific business problems in clear and structured manner.
- Support in the designing of appropriate research and analysis framework for business diagnostics, analysing and interpreting ambiguous and complex information and relationships.
- Support in the facilitation of client workshops or focused group discussion to interview stakeholders for insights gathering and design thinking.
- Supporting senior management in business development efforts, including proposal creation and development of thought leadership publications
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training course, mentoring and daily interaction with seniors and clients.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree holders (preferably Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering and/or Business Management) with CGPA of 3.5 minimum from a renowned university.
- Ability to identify, facilitate and pursue strategy and innovation development opportunities that create business value and sustainable growth through transformation and exploitation of a company’s core strengths.
- Strong logic, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyses complex business issues, develop hypotheses and recommend solutions.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, matrixed organisational structure
Highly strategic and innovative thinker with solid judgment and a passion for learning. - Possess strong financial knowledge and business acumen.
- Able to synthesize complexity into elegant simplicity and be (or perceived to be) objective, impartial and unbiased while developing and presenting recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across the spectrum from Individual Contributors to C‐level Executives.
- Candidate with working experiences in consulting, corporate management, property development and construction will be prioritised.
