We were engaged to provide the following services:
- Macro-economic analysis on the transportation industry in Malaysia, in particular the e-hailing segments
- Business strategy planning & high-level digital solution architecture
- Financial modelling, pricing strategy & charging mechanism for the services
Solutions/Outcomes Delivered
We conducted a cursory review on the impact from COVID-19 towards various sub-segments of Transportation industry in Malaysia, focusing on the job loss in B40.
Our study identified several emerging opportunities that could be tapped on by the Client, leveraging its existing taxi vehicle and the large population of affected B40 labours. A strategic business model were recommended, focused on Public-Private Partnership model, maximising the job creation from federal government’s current needs on delivery & dispatch service, supported by private sector operators and investments.
This include a strategic air cargo tie-up with logistics partners to provide an end-to-end services offering.
