Background

Lion Corporation in Malaysia had invited several parties to bid for their large steel business and Baosteel China was invited as one of the bidding parties.

Scope of Services

Working with a multidisciplinary team of consultant, we focused on areas of concern which included future operations viability and risks associated to financial leverage.

Solutions / Outcomes Delivered

• We carried out a due diligence exercise on Lion Corporation’s steel business which included financial review, tax reviews, business reviews, high level risk analysis and matters that the buyer was looking at pursuant to due diligence information provided.
