Client
The client is an engineering company specialised in telecommunication industry. It provides providing services of multi engineering contract works, maintenance and supply.
Background
The client has partnership agreements with various overseas technology companies, research institutions & manufacturers.
Leveraging on its relationships with these partners, the client is envisioned to establish a 4IR (Industrial Revolution) Application Centers across various state of Malaysia to provide end-to-end support for Malaysian SMEs in the 4IR digital transformation process.
Challenges & Expectations
The establishment of the facilities at national scale would need massive investment and government supports.
The client would like to prepare a robust business plan in support for its negotiations with investors and government authorities.
Our Role on the Project
Scope of Services
- Conduct macro-economic analysis on the manufacturing industries which required the service of the center
- Conceptualise the strategic components & high-level operating model of the 4IR Application Center
- Develop an implementation roadmap to guide the business plan execution
Solutions/Outcomes Delivered
Working with the client’s management, we have organised and facilitated a design thinking workshop with the top management to map out the operating flow of the 4IR Application Center.
We have developed several collaboration models between the client and its technology partners in delivering the technology supports for the SMEs. This includes options for revenue model to provide technology consultancy & customisation services for different manufacturing industry.
