Client
Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) is a government agency under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia. HRD Corp is responsible for driving the development of Malaysia’s current and future workforce.
Background
HRD Corp is desirous to organise an international conference which involves the country leaders from Asia and Asia Pacific to develop a new human resource policy blueprint – HR 5.0: The Next Evolution in Human Resource Development.
Challenges & Expectations
The conference HR 5.0: The Next Evolution in Human Resource Development aims to provide a platform for various country leaders / ministerial stakeholders in Asia to deliberate on the challenges within Human Resource aspects, and facilitate constructive discussion and feedback on the possible policy strategy.
The policy is needed to foster the creation of a more sustainable and efficient labour market within the region
Our Role on the Project
Scope of Services
The project involves a workshop with key management to clarify the project owner’s vision and objectives, followed by a baseline assessment of human resources challenges in major Asian countries.
Benchmarking research on HR policies in model countries evaluates strategy, framework, programs, initiatives, and governance structures. Idea generations for early recommendations on the human resource policy strategy
Solutions / Outcomes Delivered
- Identified 5 key themes for the policy strategy (Human-centred Future of Work, Balanced economic advancement, Sustainable industrialisation, Reduce income disparity and reboarding of Human Resourcing)
- Launched the National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition (NHCCE), which brings together a community of trailblazers, thought leaders, and industry experts to push the boundaries of human resources towards HR 5.0.
