Client

The client is one of the licensed e-money issuers in Malaysia.

Background

In view of the growing competitive e-wallet industry in Malaysia, the client is aspired to expand its business by revamping its current system to include specific government-related transactions.

Challenges & Expectations

The client had developed a concept business structure and several technology features which can streamline the targeted government-related transaction by integrating into the government process.

However, further validation studies are required to ascertain the magnitude of benefits from the digital solutions proposed  to justify the investment.

Our Role on the Project

Scope of Services

We were engaged to provide the following services:

• Macroeconomic analysis on the cost and benefits of targeted government-related transactions
• Business planning & digital solutions architecture design
• Socio-economic impact assessment on the solutions proposed

Solutions/Outcomes Delivered

We conducted a thorough assessment of the targeted government-related transactions and quantified the potential savings that could be achieved using the proposed features.

Working with our Digital Team, we developed several options for the system architecture and type of features that are value-adding along the targeted transaction process.

As part of the implementation process, we also make recommendations on the possible collaboration models between the client and selected government authorities.
