Description of Project

Client

National Human Resource Centre (NHRC) is a government agency under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia. HRD Corp is responsible for  driving the development of Malaysia’s current and future workforce.

Background

The restriction imposed by the government to reduce the risk of the spread of Covid-19 viruses had caused a drastic change to the working arrangement in Malaysia.

As working from home has become the new norm for many organisations and presented unique challenges for Malaysian employers and employees, the National Human Resource Centre (NHRC) had stepped forward to devise a Policy for Flexible Working Arrangements (FWA) in Malaysia.

Challenges & Expectations

Following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, a survey on FWA in Malaysia has been conducted to identify if the current legislations support the implementation of FWA in Malaysia. A proper policy formulation process is deemed required to institutionalise ths FWA policy.
