27Group’s Fiona Soh completes term as HRDF’s Governance Oversight Committee

27Group’s Fiona Soh who is one of five appointees to the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) Governance Oversight Committee (GOC), completed her term as a GOC member in the 3rd quarter of 2018 with the submission of a diagnostic review report on HRDF to the Ministry of Human Resources (the “Ministry”).

The GOC members appointed by the Human Resources Minister, Y.B. Tuan M. Kula Segaran, in June 2018 has been given the mandate to assist the Ministry on an interim basis, to review all aspects of HRDF’s governance framework to ensure the HRDF Board of Directors function in an effective and efficient manner, to support the operations of HRDF. The findings of the review, with the GOC’s proposed recommendations and potential areas of improvement were highlighted to the Ministry and HRDF’s Board for their consideration. The report was also presented at HRDF Town Hall with the Employer Associations & Registered Employers and attended by the Human Resources Minister, on 10 November 2018.

His professional affiliation includes being Member and Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), Member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (USA) and Member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry.
