Nur Yasmin Ahmad Rizal

Yasmin graduated from University of California Los Angeles in 2020 in Atmospheric, Oceanic & Environmental Sciences with a minor in Environmental Sociology, having gained well-rounded experience in fieldwork research and community engagement.

At 27 Advisory, she is focusing on ESG and have been assisting in research and data analysis for government blueprint in circular economy & solid waste management.

Previously at Lang Tengah Turtle Watch Sdn. Bhd., Yasmin managed a sea turtle conservation and volunteer programme. As a leader and team player, they played a key role in stakeholder engagement & awareness, human capital development, educational outreach and managing assets & finances for the programme.

Yasmin played an active and instrumental role in the formulation of National Circular Economy Blueprint for Solid Waste in Malaysia. This project is about setting a guiding framework for the Malaysia enterprises and manufacturers to design, produce, consume, and dispose products / materials in methods that can complement to the Circular Economy, enabling a more sustainable usage of natural resources.

Throughout the study, Yasmin involved in the data gathering process where she involved in the stakeholder engagement with various government agencies across all States in Malaysia to obtain official statistical data points and progress reporting of existing initiatives. She also take lead in the Industry Value Chain Analysis for several key sectors such as Plastic, Metal, and Paper.
