A Quantity Surveyor by profession, Krishnasamy has been in the Construction and Development Industry for the last 40 years. Through his many years of experience, Datuk P. Krishnasamy was invited to join the KLCC Project Management Team in 1993 as General Manager and subsequently promoted to Managing Director and Project Director of the Petronas Twin Towers. At KLCC and as Project Director, Datuk P. Krishnasamy not only looked after the Petronas Twin Towers but also the total KLCC Development including Suria KLCC, the Maxis Tower, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the Prince Court Medical Centre and the KLCC Park and Infrastructure. Besides, Datuk P. Krishnasamy is also the representatives of owner for construction management of the Cardiac Vascular Sentral (CVS) Kuala Lumpur – one of Malaysia’s first private cardiac and vascular hospitals.
Datuk Krishnasamy has consulted largely for Petronas and Khazanah on Project Management and Risk Management in all their developments in Kuala Lumpur, Iskandar Johor Bahru and Singapore. In the past four years, he completed Petronas Tower 3 and is currently working on M+S
Development in Singapore for Khazanah, the Traders in Puteri Harbour and Pinewood Studios in Nusajaya, Johor.
He has a particularly high level of energy, is well respected and has a distinguished profile. Prior to working in Malaysia, Datuk Krishnasamy spent 9 years working in Australia. In 2016 he was made a Fellow of the Construction Industry Development Board by the the Malaysia Government for services to the construction industry.
