Joel William

Mr. Joel William is the Founder & CEO of Medhini Group Sdn. Bhd (MG), serving clients in the high-tech industry setting up greenfield and brownfield projects in Asia Pacific. He was also the Acting Engineering Director for Nutrition Technologies (NT) since Nov 2020 until July 2023 and instrumental in setting up NT’s first commercial scale Biotech animal feed manufacturing plant in Johor and working on establishing higher capacity sites in the region. In 2021 MG was awarded masterplan, CD and cleanroom D&B for Insulet’s greenfield site in Johor.

Mr. Joel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from University Science Malaysia (USM) where he also attained his Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).

He started his career as the manager for Malaysian Biotechnology Information Centre (MABIC) in 2005. At MABIC he was actively involved in policy discussion among stakeholders during the establishment of Malaysian National Biotechnology Policy and performed outreach programs to create awareness on biotechnology & biosafety. Mr. Joel is constantly engaged in various GMP related activities including cGMP training programs with local universities, provide consultations for Third Bridge Group on EPC projects for Semiconductor & Life Science.

Mr. Joel joined 27Group in the capacity of Principal Advisor, to advise on the industrial development, particularly in the development planning, project management, and construction management aspects. He also bring on broad his in-depth experiences in deal structuring for industrial development, allowing him to bring more value adds to our industrial clients.
