Parameswaran Sivalingam

Param is a highly competent project management and construction director with strong business and organizational acumen. He attended the Advanced Management Programme, Insead (2001) and has been recently inducted as a Global Executive Council Member of PMI USA.

As former CEO of GMR Group EPC Division, he helped build an EPC Division from scratch to a 600 strong organization in the Railway, Highways, Building, and Energy sectors. He has completed a portfolio of 13 projects to date in India valued at around 2 Billion Ringgit.

He is resilient and responsive to change, quick to learn new businesses, procedures and products. He is highly reliable, a self-starter and a positive influence on others.

His recent assignment was as the Project Director for the KVMRT SSP Project in Kuala Lumpur. He was involved from start up to the implementation of the Design, Procurement, Construction and the Integration of the Civil (Viaduct and Stations) and the Systems works.

He has a distinguished career in Project Management and Construction having completed complex mega projects including SPRINT highway, SMART, the world’s first and only dual purpose road and storm-water tunnel, in Malaysia and the New Doha International Airport in Doha.

He has built and managed large multi-national teams of professionals in diverse fields of Engineering from Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Railway Systems. He has a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.

Notable innovations he has achieved are in the area of BIM Design (3D), Skill Development Institute with Homesglen Tafe of Australia and the acquisition of LIDAR Survey capability for GMR EPC. These are cutting edge solutions for the future of Construction.
